It finally happened. We're now the family of six...with four pets.
Our neighbors' granddaughter celebrated her first birthday this weekend, and brought over four Elmo fishbowls with "Dorothy" goldfish for our kids. They've now been renamed: BunnyRabbit, Clifford, Tiger, and Mio.
I might totally copy this party favor idea for Joseph's birthday this spring. He
loves Elmo. he's never seen him on tv, but we brought a small giggling Elmo doll to Uganda, and Joseph claimed it as "his" toy. Joe-Bear (as his sisters often call him) loves toys with faces: stuffed animals, dolls, books with people... he's a lover.

Pet update: Tiger fish was belly up this morning. Momma cleaned out each fishbowl and refilled them with bottled water...but Bunny Rabbit fish is looking a little "calm"...uh oh
