Dear Momma, it's your son, Joshua. Just want to say: I've decided to need you. I've been watching you with your other children, and I am convinced your heart is good, and you do love them. I am starting to believe you have the same heart for me. You know, people really like me. Maybe cuz I'm easy, and low maintentance. But the real me is needy, and I've decided it's safe to show you what you already know to be true ~ that I need you.
So, here I come. I'm gonna cry, and hang on your leg, and climb into your arms, and even when you're caring for your other kids I know you will still make room for me on your lap. And I know I don't have to wait my turn, cuz as your kid it is my turn. So, I'm all in - I'm gonna go for it. Wow, I didn't even know my neediness...but you did, and you welcome it.
