The kids and I went in to
"Daddy's work" today for lunch. Joshua
loves pushing things around the warehouse! The warehouse is currently getting set up for this weekend's
outreach.

My kids all wear coats that have been given to us by friends and family. Also, every single piece of clothing that my boys wear has been given to us. Remarkable. We are so thankful, and it has helped our newly stretched budget - but if we had to buy clothes for our sons it's not like we would have to decide between buying clothes or groceries. But for many families in the inner city, they have to make those tough choices. The new jackets hanging in this photo are some of the 2,000 that are going to be donated to our partner churches locally and throughout the nation this weekend at our Homeless Care Kit distributions. The churches will use these as an opportunity to connect with needy families in their communities, and show God's tangible love. As a mom, I can just imagine how loud and clear that message will be when a family is able to keep their kids warm, thanks to a caring neighborhood church expressing the message of Christ.
