Dave was nervous, but quickly captivated the class with his dynamic reading, and commentary on the pictures. Ruby gave the best compliment: "You were killin' it, Daddy!"

Very Special Person
She's been counting the weeks since school started - and THIS is the week: Ruby is the Very Special Person in her kindergarten class! The class sings a song to her about how special she is, and how they are thankful she is in their class, then she gets to sit in the teacher's chair and show the class some special items that are important to her (her Packer jersey, her tap shoes, her swim cap, her dolly that has high heels, her Little People that she plays with LouLou, and lots and lots of photos).
The best part of being the "Very Special Person"? You get to invite a parent to come and read a favorite book. Ruby chose her daddy, and the book "Taxi Dog" about none other than NYC - known in our home as thegreatestcityintheworld!
