The sunny day had ZOO written all over it - so Papa and I brought the girls on a picnic and a visit to the animals. After all, today was Ruby's second-to-last-day-of-preschool, so what better way to celebrate!
Sadie Lou likes to wear her sunglasses propped up so she can look out from under the lens'.
The TIGER! Ah, this was a huge highlight. Usually he is roaming down in the trees, but today it was as if he was waiting especially for Sadie Lou to visit him through the glass. I seriously choked back tears, and said a silent prayer to thank God for placing the tiger where Sadie could enjoy him up close.
Maybe we'll see "real" giraffes in Africa. Africa. Comes to my mind every 30 seconds or so...
