Christmas Tree - the tradition continues

When I was a little girl, my parents would take us, and sometimes half the neighborhood, to pick out a tree and cut it down. It was actually a pretty elaborate tradition which included me getting too cold and pouting in the car, and my sister giving the final approval before the tree-of-the-year could be sawed down by my dad. Well, this year the tradition continues to the next generation: we accompanied Grammy and Papa on the tree cutting excursion to the Christmas Tree Farm. Once at the tree farm, we bundled up, loaded out of the car...and then LouLou announced she needed to go potty - NOW!
So we loaded back into the van, found a place to accomodate her needs, and then drove back to the trees =-)
At last, trompsing through the woods in search for the perfect tree!
LouLou wasn't keen on being cold - much like her momma as a little girl.
And moments later Ruby shouted, "Hey! I found the perfect tree!"
And then my camera battery died.
But you get the idea =-)
