Today the college students trudged out into our urban neighborhoods, despite a December rainpour, and delivered Holiday Care Boxes to families in need, on behalf of partnering inner city churches. Hundreds of individuals heard a clear presentation of the gospel for the first time, and many even indicated a desire to put their trust in Christ. A few minutes ago, we received an email from one of the churches that hosted college students in their neighborhood today:
Today's outreach was simply wonderful -- to put it very, very mildly! Individuals accepted the Lord; so many lives were touched within the community. This is what adds value and meaning to our lives!
When the students returned from the streets Pastor Wes and myself personally met with the teams verbally receiving most of the feedback/information and praying with them.
Pastor Wes enjoyed talking and interacting with the students -- he was so pumped! I'm believing the Lord is up to something and I'm excited to be part of the something.
Thanks much to HLIC for this opportunity, we are so happy! This is what it is all about! I just can't thank you, the students and the Lord enough!
Blessings,
