We've had the great blessing of attending two weddings in the past two weeks. The girls have LOVED it!
First, Brittany (our longest standing, precious, dear babysitter) got married.
The following weekend, Dave's cousin, sweet Carmen, got married. We traveled to Green Bay to celebrate with his extended family. What fun!
The girls are great travelers, but I learned something about Sadie Lou...she's also a great actress! We were visiting friends after church on Sunday, in Green Bay, and LouLou was extremely fatigued. In fact, she wanted nothing to do with eating, or playing with the other kids. Dave was a little worried that she was getting sick, but she didn't feel warm...hmm. So we took turns holding her for nearly two hours.
However - the moment we buckled her into her carseat, she came alive =-) She chattered and giggled nonstop for the next hour in the car. All we can conclude is that she was simply "peopled-out" and figured if she acted asleep, folks would finally leave her alone. Clever lil introvert!
Here Sadie Lou stands in front of the giant football, just blocks from our friends' house, and blocks from Lambeau Field. She's a big fan, and has big plans to marry Clay Matthews one day. When we drove past the stadium, she said with glee, "There's where Clay Matthews works!"
