Spring Break is around the corner

Turn a bunch of college students loose on spring break, and what happens?
Crazy parties? Booze on the beach?
Here's a different idea:
For 18 years, Here's Life Inner City has been training and sending out Christian college students to serve with urban churches and neighborhood missions during spring break.
We call it Urban Immersion, and God uses it in powerful ways.
For example, last year Betty, her husband, and their three children — newly homeless, emotionally rattled, living in their car, showed up at an Orlando church's Saturday morning breakfast. There they met Karen and Chris, HLIC staff.
Karen called one of our partner-ministries to help find them a place to live, and they were soon safely situated in a mobile home park. Before long, Betty had placed her faith in Christ. Then Urban Immersion students arrived to minister to children in the mobile home park — a college student from St. Cloud State in Minnesota led Betty's younger daughter to the Lord.
This year, Urban Immersion will take the Gospel to thousands of children and adults in Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Orlando, Seattle, and the Twin Cities during the month of March. Please pray for fruitful encounters. Thank you!
