Louise. Today you danced with me in the kitchen. We do this every day, and sometimes several times in a day. You wanted me to swing you around so that your feet would fly up and out, and your beads would clink clink. You leap, and giggle, and then you throw your arms around my waist and hang all your weight on me while you look up - your chin in my tummy, and your eyes sparkling with awareness that you are loved. Deeply loved.
You are learning to dance. Really dance. You usually see the world in black and white; right and wrong. Last week I told you that art and music don't have rules. You raised your eyebrows -but you are starting to understand. You are starting to draw "silly" pictures, and you are making up dance moves that you never learned at dance class. Oh, you wild and crazy girl =-) You are loved. Deeply loved.
