This is the leg of the journey in which a pre-adoptive parent checks email several times an hour. Oftentimes against logic and reason, because even though the parent knows that it's the middle of the night on the other side of the world...maybe just maybe an email will be in my inbox with a photo, or a tidbit of personal information, or the biggie: a court date.
I'd write more, but I gotta run. It's time to check my email for the 8th time this morning!
Ha! I woke up at 4am and got out of bed to check my e-mail. I think I am going to just start bringing my phone to bed with me so I can check without getting up.
