huge part of my growing up years were centered around my parents' summer cabin just 45 min north of our home. Countless hours of swimming, skiing, bonfires, building forts in the "back woods" and playing cards in the porch... we had a charmed life, no doubt. Now what a blessing to be able to experience all this with my husband and kids too!
Our girls wake up before the rest of extended family, so we'd have breakfast on the pontoon while the lake was still like glass.

Riding Auntie Sarah's jet ski was Sadie Lou's
favorite thing to do - FAST!
Contrary to the look on her face, Sadie actually loved riding the tube behind the boat.
Ah, our snuggle bugs: they both still nap every day, and loved sharing a bed at the cabin.
